Introduction
What Peersheep does, and how a change on a competitor's site becomes a briefing in your inbox.
Peersheep watches the pages where your competitors show their hand: pricing, changelogs, docs, careers. When something meaningful changes, you get a short briefing in Slack, Linear or email that says what changed and what it likely means.
You don't get a raw diff or a weekly report to dig through. Each alert is a few sentences you can act on the same day.
How it works
You pick what to watch
Add a competitor's domain and Peersheep suggests the pages worth monitoring, like /pricing, /changelog and /careers. Keep the ones you care about, or add any other URL yourself.
Peersheep checks each page on a schedule
Every page is crawled hourly or daily. Each crawl is stored as a snapshot, so there's always a before and an after to compare.
Changes are scored, and noise is dropped
When a page changes, Peersheep reads the difference and scores it high, medium or low signal. Reordered content, whitespace and cosmetic rewording are thrown away before they reach you.
You get a briefing
Changes that matter become alerts, each with a plain-language summary, the reason for its score, and the before-and-after evidence. High-signal alerts go out immediately.
