Linear issues
Turn important competitor changes into Linear issues for your team.
Connect Linear and Peersheep files an issue for each change that meets your threshold, so competitive moves land in the same backlog as the rest of your work.
Connect Linear
In Peersheep, open Settings → Integrations and click Connect next to Linear.
Linear asks you to approve access for your workspace. Peersheep can read your teams and create issues; it can't edit or delete anything.
Back in Peersheep, pick the Team issues should be filed in. If your workspace has one team, it's picked for you.
Choose what gets filed
Under File issues for, pick which alerts become issues:
- High signal only (the default)
- Medium and high
- Every change
Issues are filed as soon as an alert is analysed, whether or not the daily digest is on.
File an alert by hand
Any alert can be filed on its own, whatever its signal. Open the alert and click Create Linear issue. Once it's filed, the issue's identifier, for example ENG-123, replaces the button and links to it.
Each alert is only ever filed once, so an alert that was filed automatically shows its issue instead of the button.
What an issue looks like
- Title: the competitor and page, for example Acme AI: Pricing changed
- Priority: High, Medium or Low, from the alert's signal
- Description: the summary, the changed lines, why the change got its score, and links to the alert and the page
If Linear says "Needs attention"
Peersheep marks Linear Needs attention when it can't file an issue, for example when access was revoked in Linear or the chosen team was deleted. Pick a team again, or disconnect and reconnect Linear. The status clears on the next issue that's filed.
